Cherry Pie is an Indica dominant hybrid of Grand Daddy Purple and Durban Poison. Although it is hard to find the authentic version of this particular medical marijuana strain, it definitely will not be hard to believe that this is the best type of strain. In structural composition, it has dense buds with orange hair all over and displays a slight tint of purple. Inspiring the name of this medical marijuana strain, the aroma is that of cherry pies. It is most commonly used by patients who are suffering from evident symptoms of PTSD, anxiety, bipolar disorder, migraines, and other stress-oriented syndromes. MCDaddy75 –
Visual: This Cherry Pie had a nice visual appeal to it. There was lots of nice sparkly crystal all over this cone shaped bud. The colours were a dark forest green with patches of reddish/brown hairs. It was very dense.
Nose: The nose was sweet and fruity and earthy. It was more pungent when I opened it up and I also got some sweet spiciness and gas and pine.
Cut/Roll/Grind: It was easy to cut and to grind. The grinder fluffed it up quite a bit. The moisture level was very good.
Taste: I got more of the earthiness and a hint of the gas and pine. As I get through the joint I can pick up a cherry pie flavor.
Burn: It burnt ok. The ash was a bit dark at first but it started to clear up half way through the joint.
Potency/Effects: I got a good punch in my nose from this one and the potency built up well to a good level for me. It started off with a heavy body effect and then eventually travelled to my head to give me a nice overall buzzy effect.
Overall score – 9.4/10
