DESCRIPTION:
Cit·Rix is a Sativa-leaning hybrid strain with a dynamic citrus flavor and a balanced, uplifting high. Bred by Reserva Privada, the Colorado-based cultivators who have stabilized classics like Headband and Strawberry Banana, Cit·Rix is a cross between Grapefruit and natural Indica L.A. Confidential. With an average THC content of around 20%, it is an excellent choice for both adventurous outdoor activities and relaxing at home.
Although visually unremarkable, Cit·Rix’s flowers are dense and tightly packed, typical of Indica varieties. The buds are covered in trichomes, making them sticky to the touch, and have a citrus aroma with notes of fresh orange peel and a tart undertone from its Grapefruit parent. When smoked, Cit·Rix produces a smooth, even smoke with a tropical blend of orange, pineapple, and grapefruit flavors.
Cit·Rix has a potent high that begins with a soaring euphoria and increased energy levels. It then leads to buzzy cerebral effects, which can enhance creativity and analytical thinking. As the high wears on, the physical effects become more mellowing than incapacitating, making it an ideal strain for activities that involve both the mind and body, such as exercise, video games, and sex. Cit·Rix is also beneficial for those suffering from mild to moderate depression, ADHD, and chronic pain, thanks to its mood-boosting effects and low-grade physical sedation.
While Reserva Privada has not yet released Cit·Rix seeds for commercial sale, it is an easy strain to grow and is resistant to disease and mold. It can be grown indoors or outdoors, with a flowering time of 9 to 11 weeks and a high yield. After harvesting, proper curing is essential to maintain the strain’s flavor and psychoactivity.
Overall, Cit·Rix is a crowd-pleaser strain with a unique tangy taste and gregarious social vibes that make it an excellent choice for parties and sharing with friends.
